It is with sincere humility and a profound sense of purpose that I greet you as the 17th North Carolina State Director of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. I am incredibly honored to serve in this role and even more proud to stand on the shoulders of the giants who came before me—men who paved the way with unwavering commitment, courage, and a vision rooted in service and justice.
We are MOVING Sigma forward in North Carolina—with intention, unity, and impact. Our goal is to honor our Founders’ legacy by keeping their vision alive through meaningful service, strong advocacy, and transformative community engagement. From mentoring boys ages 8 to 18 in our Sigma Beta Clubs, to supporting collegiate brothers and empowering alumni chapters across the state, we are committed to shaping the future of our communities with purpose and pride.
We are also living in a time of rapid change—socially, politically, and economically. As rights are challenged and equity is redefined, advocacy is not optional—it is essential. Phi Beta Sigma has always been a voice for the voiceless and a champion for justice, and that mission is more critical now than ever before. Whether we’re addressing disparities in education, health, economics, or civic participation, North Carolina Sigmas will continue to stand on the front lines for the communities we serve.
In the face of these challenges, I find strength in our Brotherhood. This journey is not meant to be walked alone. When the burden grows heavy, I’m reminded that I do not carry it alone—I have brothers by my side. That is the beauty of Phi Beta Sigma. That is the power of unity.
My vision is simple but powerful: ONE North Carolina. We are stronger together. Divided, we limit our reach. But united, there is no limit to what we can build, protect, and transform. This work is not about a title—it’s about rolling up our sleeves and doing what needs to be done.
